Transworld Surf has everything you need to check out photos and video from Billabong’s 5th annual ‘Design For Humanity’ event, which chooses a different non-profit organization to raise money for every year.Don’t call it a concert. Don’t call it an art show, or a party. Billabong’s Design For Humanity is a whole different creature. Let’s call it a celebration on steroids.” comments Transworld writer Cheyenne Arnold. The sold out event raised over $100,000 for VH1’s Save The Music foundation. Billabong’s design director Mindy Robinson, led the fashion show this year with many looks that were inspired from legends like Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. Popular indie band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros headlined the music side of things, and there were over 50 artists showcasing their works for the night.
