Transworld Business’ August 2011 issue just released – and so did the feature article on the ‘2011 Action Sports Most Influential Women’. Gracing the cover of the issue is Pro Surfer Bethany Hamilton slaying a wave, with the first three words of the article: “Step Aside Boys”…what more can we say with that? Transworld Business Associate Editor, Kepley DePalma writes; “Women are changing the game and taking names and they’re earning the respect of everyone along the way. It’s the collaboration of both sexes that is helping to move this industry upward, appealing to a more diverse and expansive demographic, and catering to uphold the lifestyle that our consumers are passionate about.” She also said how the most difficult part of this all was narrowing it down to only 11 women.
