Kimmy Fasani is one of those snowboarders that has taken female snowboarding to a whole new level. At 15 years old she won theUSASA NationalSlopestyle Championships and carried that crown through two more seasons. Kimmy was able to graduate high school early and focus on snowboarding and college, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. And now, she is back with Burton Snowboards. . .
Over the years, Kimmy has won numerous competitions and has had feature spreads in magazines such as Transworld, Snowboarder, Mammoth Magazine and so many more. For 2012, Transworld Snowboarding nominated her twice for their 13th Annual Riders Poll Awards, first for “Women’s Rider of the Year” and second, she is the only female nominated for “Standout Performance of the Year” in reference to her double back-flip in Standard Films’ most recent release, TB20.

For the past couple seasons she has been riding for DC and putting video parts together with the boys of Standard Films. Just today it was announced that she is back on with her old sponsor, Burton Snowboards. Burton Women’s Team Manager, Susie Floros, did a stellar interview with
heron Burtongirls.com – check it out to read how stoked Kimmy is on being able to ride with the Burton team again and being able to represent the AK outerwear line.
Some of Kimmy’s other sponsors include: Zeal Optics, Skullcandy, Mammoth Mountain, Clif Bar and Mimi’s Cookie Bar. She is also a supporter of Light Gives Heat and Boarding for Breast Cancer organizations.
